Regulatory Strategist & Public Affairs Advocate
About
Paige Monet Brown is the Principal and Founder of Jefferson & Associates LLC, a Dallas-based regulatory strategy and public affairs consultancy. With over a decade of experience at the intersection of land use, political affairs, and community engagement, she guides clients through the complex terrain of licensing, policy, and stakeholder relations across cannabis, hemp, alcohol, nightlife, and emerging adult-use industries.
Before establishing Jefferson & Associates, Paige led PMB Consulting in Los Angeles, specializing in cannabis licensing and championing social equity frameworks — ensuring that communities most impacted by prohibition had a meaningful seat at the table. Her work is rooted in the conviction that effective policy is inseparable from justice.
A graduate of the University of Texas at Austin, Paige holds dual Bachelor's degrees in African & African Diaspora Studies and Liberal Arts — a foundation that informs her nuanced understanding of systemic structures, community dynamics, and the human stories behind every policy decision. She is a skilled communicator, coalition-builder, and advocate who believes deeply in the transformative power of empathy.
Beyond her practice, Paige is a singer, dancer, and performer with a lifelong love of theatre. A passionate horror film enthusiast, close follower of political happenings, and someone who relishes critical discourse on virtually any topic. A proud queer, Black, and Indigenous woman — happily married for ten years, and devoted dog mom to a Yorkie named Jefferson.
Effective policy is inseparable from justice — and every community deserves a meaningful seat at the table.
